Default Spacers for Blade Grips

I got Align blades to put on my B450, and I need to make shims for the blades.

I know some people used old credit cards and cut them to use. I'm wondering how exactly people did this, as in just a little circle with a hole in the middle, and do you put the shims on the top or bottom? or does it not matter?

Put one on the top and one on the bottom, just cut out 2 small peices for each blade, then drill a hole in the center. Worked good for me for a long time till I went fbl.

alright, thanks for the info. Now I have to find a credit card or something to cut up to use as shims. think a hole puncher would work for the center hole?

Keep the center hole the same size as the bolt though.

Here's a solution that's a little less, um, "shade tree-ish" :

For $3.29 you can buy some real Blade shims. They're listed under 450 X parts, but I've been using them myself on my 450 3D ever since I began using Align carbon blades. They work perfectly!

Part #. BLH 4304

I'm using the Revolution blades and made the spacers needed from an old pair of wood blades for my cp pro2. Took the black plastic pieces off, cut to size and drilled out the hole enough for the bolt to fit through. Works but I ordered the 450x shims like h2o suggested.
