I was wondering if the flybar cage for the HDX500 is compatible with the Lepton. I bent the two side pieces of my Lepton's flybar cage in a recent crash and am cringing at paying almost $40 for the whole cage from Hirobo. I looked at the HDX500 cage and it looks like the Lepton cage, only not anodized. I e-mailed Helidirect and got and answer in the tone of "Good question. I have no idea"
So, it is now open to the actual Lepton owners to let me know of any experiences using the HDX500 flybar cage on a Lepton. Does it fit (at least the side pieces)? Thanks for any input, Steve |

The full flybar cage will be around 25$ at RC champ (japan, contact by e-mail). they sell hirobo parts with around a 30% discount of the Yen prices in the manual.

The Lepton head is similar to the 3DX 500 head. But for the 3DX and the HDX two different cages are offered. Have a look on xmseller.com: They have two versions. The 3DX-Version should fit.
