SBUS and the 720
A couple of question on using a SBUS.
1. If you do not use HV servo's is OK to still run the SBUS? 2. How many wires do you have to run to your 720 from the SBUS? 3. I only want to run the SBUS because it will make for a cleaner setup am I wasting my time?

The two main reasons for using the sbus is to reduce the vibrations on the gyro and the voltage level in the 720.
If you are running LV then you don't need the bus. If you use the bus, 4 wires connect the bus to the gyro. On my set up with a Helijive ESC I have 6 wires running into the sbus and 4 wires running to the gyro. Good luck |

I believe you gentlemen are speaking of the Skookum Power Bus and not the Futaba S.Bus system... correct?
I use there power bus on my Furion 6 using SK-720 running HV servos. Another advantage is I was able to position it in such a way that I did not need any servo extentions. I do not use the power bus on my Beam E4 using the SK-540 with 6.4 volts. I may try the Futaba SBE-1 S.Bus PWM Adapter on my Synergy E5 between my Hitec receiver and the SK-540.

Sbus is great a single wire between the SK720, it's a special connector from Skookum.
http://www.skookumrobotics.com/shop/...products_id/36 Power Buss is also great 4 wires from the power buss to the SK720 unless you run SK Gov then 5

There is an even more efficient way to use the SK-PW7 bus. You only need three wires between the SK-720 and the SK-PW7, and you can still plug the phase sensor into the SK-PW7. I can post in another thread if interested how this is done.
