4S 3700 Pack for the 500

Can you use a 4S 3700 25C pack on the trex 500? I fly my trex 600 on 2- 4S 3700 packs and wondered
if I could use 1 pack on the 500.

Align recommends 16 to 18T pinions for a 4S. I would imagine the stock (12/13T) pinions would give pretty slow headspeed.

If I used a 16 or 18 tooth pinion would it work ? Any idea of 3D flight time ?
