ID:	450109So I saw a couple threads about flying fields and places to fly. Thought I would share mine. I have a little acreage out behind my house. I got about 20 acres I can fly over. What do the neighbors think? I donít care. My neighbor shoots skeet in the back yard. my other neighbor shoots guns in his back yard. three of my other neighbors soot guns in their yard. (so do i). Anyway everyone around me lives on 5 acres or more. So i build a little place out back. You cant see my house but its on other side of trees.

Site Specs:
1. Key hole flying site and parking for four cars. Grass cut at 2.5".

2. Key hole is cut down to 1.5" grass height. Border is cut to 5" height. The rest as you can see is a nice soft cushy landing. Definitely cuts down on parts count.

3. Entry to circle is four mower decks wide. I placed heli in circle for size reference.

4. Evening shade near start of keyhole.

My rules are as follows.
1. Flying by invite only. I live in Spring Hill TN. PM me if you want to come try it out just to fly someplace different.

2. Requires AMA membership or 100,000 cash deposit (in case you hit a house) or amex black (also in case you hit a house). Any one of these will suffice. houses arenít that close. My house is approximately 500 to 600 ft from center of keyhole.

3. Do not fly over houses.
This was my attempt at humor. enjoy the pics. Let me know if you like.

Default nice!

Very nice. I am on the way! (What's the travel time from richmond, va?) Haha very jealous, I hope to buy myself some land in the next few years and make a pretty flying spot like that.

Your only mistake is cutting the grass leave it 3 foot or do long and it acts like a great cushion.

Very nice spot, did I miss them or don't you have some tables and chairs?

Here's a GoPro view of one of the fields on our horse farm. I fly here or on a long more narrow field at the other end of the farm, about 270' by 500'.

Nice and wanted to show mine. Its a Polo Field with power outlets. As long as I fly there before 630pm on the weekends I was given the privilege to fly there anytime. All those acres just for me and a few friends.

That's awesome, Dean. Sounds like you and your neighbors ought to set up a sporting clays range across all your places for when you're not flying.

Ozz58,

The table and chairs werent there. its a work in progress. plan is to pour a concrete pad and shelter with table and chairs. power is likely going to have to be via gen.

That is sweet. Just make sure that the neighbors don't confuse the heli for a clay pigeon. hahahha

Thats the way to do it , airspace is a real limitation in tihis pursuit. If you don't own it , i think i would make a deal with some landowner.
