While waiting for those skids I just painted my aluminum skids black and covered them with tight plastic hose/tube.
Doesn't look too bad, or?

I reckon if I did the supports, it would take it over the top...

The paint cost was reasonable, and I got a deal on crash parts too. After all, negotiation is what I do for a living

I would love to do something similar unfortunately if i did that my other 3 helis would be lonely and then it would get very exspensive! LOL
