Trex XL motor question

hi all - i just want to ask if any of you that know please let me know how to put the motor back in!! i decided to unscrew it to have a close look but it's a pain and hell to try and put it back in.

it screws on the top but you can't see where the holes go because it's so tight in there!!! i've basically been trying to put it back the whole evening with no luck!!!

please help!

Dont give up. It's a pain. Use a screwdriver thats magnetic or hold the motor in with the screw holes ligned up and the heli upside down. There is no real magic fix that I know of.

Take the battery plate off. It'll give alittle better access. Maybe the front upper frame cross strut.

thanks for the replies. i persevered last night and eventually got it fixed! it was around midnight when i got it going!

also - since i've not run the motor for about 1.5 years.... do i need to grease or spray wd40 on the motor for lubrication?
it wouldn't run at first hence i decided to take it off and spun it manually with my fingers first before it started running again....

Whoa! Now that the motor has run or turned the damage is already done. It must have been stored in a humid place. Well, run the hell out of it now.
