LOL you love it huh.....

I knew that all along... its like night and day compared to the Belt CP.

But again although i have a Rex (Clone) i still must pick up for Esky a bit... Its a damn good bird for a really damn good price..... And when set up right it comes pretty close
to smoothness like the Rex (albiet it dont have all the flash).

Good to see it in the air, was waiting on just this type of response about it, its great, i have flown alot of rex's, and even though mine dont say align on it, flies jsut as nice.

Now some questions on your bird.

What blade length are you running? Exi came with 325's and its longer than the belt and looks like it can go 335 easy.

Also i am looking for some nice CF Tailblades but only get the cheapy looking ones, if anyone over on the darkside can recommend some good ones let me know..

PS your good enough flyer for Curtis Youngbloods Although you almost bit the big one on that low altitude piro towards the end of the video

That definately would not have been nice on its first outting.

Dier,

Thanks! I have been like a kid waiting on xmas ever since I saw your hovering your EXI in the house like that. I thought 'either that guy is just really really good, or these birds are really really nice, or somewhere in the middle lies the truth'

The blades are the stock Align 325 Pro's.

...and yes....I may have soiled my shorts ever so slightly with the cocky piro at the end.

And I DO love the way the Curtis Youngblood's sound and all the 'studs' here have them on theirs. But I've watched them unwrap a new pair and put it into the ground 5 minutes later. The anger that ensues is something I'm trying to avoid.

Hey guys, Ive finally signed up to this forum and finaly got my EXI
Your trex looks awesome, and a quick hover with this thing seems just as good lol.
I'm very tempted to get some youngblood rotors, but probably just to look at! but i cant find any really good tail rotors apart from the trex 3k carbons that i have on the belt. I have now SMASHED my belt twice in a matter of 3 flights so its staying on the shelf for a while untill i break the EXI.
I may upgrade to the metal gear servos at some point, but untill then the SG90's seem to hold up well.

Well i was hoping to finished fine tuning it and put a few packs through it just, but ive noticed my LHS have given me a dodgy pinion, not an align one. The teeth dont mesh too well and its starting to eat the main gear so i'll have to wait untill tomorow to buy a new one. I will get some pics at the weekend as the camera isnt here.

Grant_beltcp, Good to see ya. The mechanics of this forum are a bit daunting at first but well worth it when it all clicks.
The lovely thing is that you can totally be yourself AND EVEN POST COMMERCIAL LINKS for heavens' sake!!

They will only do it depending on the amount of users .....

So unless you can drag the bunch from the FP section on over here i cant request that one yet.

I'm talking about the HBFP ... dont see much on here with that heli (yet)

but i am sure they will add the lama section shortly, just waiting on his response.

So wait a bit tell its put on then start making your posts for stickies, also try and look up my posts
with the swash leveling ect ect and copy paste them as how to's here..

Great! I'll start pulling some of the good stuff from the old place so I've got it when we're ready. Don't want anything more to "disappear"!
