Well the IRCHA event certainly was a step up for the turbine community, I am not sure but I think we had the most turbines there that I have seen at one event. It was great to see everybody and get to share info. The Wren system sure proved itself as far as I am concerned!! The Bergens with the Wren system ran like a top, also it was great to meet up with Doc and his Wren based Benzine. I without doubt am now a firm beleiver in the Wren. With the help of Greg and Doc I think we have pretty much got them figured out. Greg and Doc lets do this again sometime and get them all airbourne at the same time, now that should be a hoot.

Gary,
It was just about the most super 4 days I can remember. Great to spend some time with you, Greg and the Bergen gang again. I think that the Bergen turbine is now "setting the pace" here in the US and, without a doubt, the WREN 54 is the ONLY way to go. And, unless Joe Howard flew his Jaka-powered HUGE Llama, it was the ONLY turbine flown at IRCHA by you, Greg and the "good guys" from RCRotortech. A real pleasure rubbing elbows again with all of you....you guys are a "class act" and, it always fun watching both Greg and Chris scaring the "bejesus" out of themselves. The "smoke screen" video was awesome! Also, an extreme pleasure to finally get to meet Mary Ann...a super lady. We gotta' do this again....soon and often Doc

Chris,
Understood! Been there, got the t-shirt, ballcap and dirty shorts...LOL. Now, here's one for you and, please understand, I hope this NEVER happens to you. How about hearing things unwinding, turbine still running, but nothing happens when you cob on the fuel....been there, done that, got the t-shirt and dirty shorts and NEVER want to have that happen again. Ocurrs when the gearbox loses mesh and it SUCKS! wolfdad sends....
