This is a new servobrand from Taiwan and will be presented by Mikado Helicopters from Germany, Europe.
They were presented in a test for a German magazine called "Rotor " in the new flybarless Logo 400
Currently I'm thinking for using the savox in my stretched logo 10 3D. They look very promising for a fraction of the cost of a Futaba S9650 which has the same sizes.

This is the test about the Logo 400 : http://www.modellsport.de/bilderport...r/0608LOGO.pdf

thanks. the SC-1257 looks interesting. but, still slower and weaker than the z9100s. maybe if it was 1/2 the price??? know of anyone selling them?

cudyboy, i have googled again and found spec of JR's z9100s as follow:
yes, it's 0.02 second faster however the torque is much less than 1257, its torque at 6V is 180ounce(= 5.10 kg, if i calculated it right). @6V SC1257 has 0.07/10kg.
regarding weakness, sc1257 has taitanium alloy gears it should be stronger.
I don't know where to get it. i will google more and see if i can found it.

Z9100S Digital Ultra-Speed MG Servo Specs
Size Category: Standard Type: Digital Torque: 150 oz/in @ 4.8V, 180 oz/in @ 6V Speed: .08 sec / 60 degrees @ 4.8V, .06 sec / 60 degrees @ 6V Dimensions (WxLxH): 0.827"x1.59"x1.569" Weight: 2.3 oz Bushing Or Bearing: Bearing Bearing: Dual Motor Type: Coreless Gear Type: Metal Application: Surface vehicles

the z9100s runs at 8v though. i know, a couple of guys at the field are running them. .04sec...super fast and scads of torque.

maybe the savox do 8v, too. but, i can't tell for sure by the spec.
