Arrow Head Vibration and TX Setting

Hello,

Had a Blade 400 and decided to move up to a T Rex 600 E CF.

Here is the back ground; I have a 600 E CF with stock electronics a 6S 5000MAH battery, and the 600XL Motor. I put Futaba servos in the collective S9452, and on the rudder I have S9254 with a GY401. The receiver is a spectrum 6200, and a DX6i TX. It has the torque tube up grade, and CF blades. I built it from the ground up using Bobs videos. (Thanks BTW) I have the swash plate perfectly level, and the pitch in dead on at 0 degrees middle stick, and + 11/ - 11 respectively.

As it runs up to speed the head shakes, and does so until it reaches almost middle stick @ 75% throttle. Then the shaking stops till you power her down, and as it slows the head shaking returns. All the parts are brand new and strait as I checked them as they were installed. Any thoughts, or is this normal for the bird? For the record I did try a different set of blades, and got the same result. They are tight, but not too tight. I also tried running her up to speed and leaving the stick at middle and then turning on idle hold so as she powered down, it was at 0 pitch and still the head shook.

Now for the TX settings, I just want to get and idea if these look correct.

GYRO Set at
67.5%

THRO CUR
NORM 0-60-80-90-100
STUNT 100-92.5-85-92.5-100
HOLD 0.00

PITC CUR
NORM 0-45-50-75-100
STUNT 0-25-50-75-100
HOLD Same as above

Swash MIX
AILE -60
ELEV +60
PITCH -70

REVERSE

THRO N AILE R
ELVE R RUDD N
GYRO N PITC N

SWASH TYPE

CCPM 120

She flies great, although you can feel the weight of this thing in the TX. Just hovering her for now as I am trying to get a feel for her (3 Batteries so far)

Anyway I would really appreciate the pros taking a close look over my settings and letting me know if Im on the right track. I would hate to have something miss figured, and she fall out of the sky.

Thanks again

YOur settings look OK although there does seem a lot of PITCH AFR - have you checked the pitch with a gauge - some degree of shake is common in the T600 as you describe - check you blades for balance and also blade tightness - they shouldn't move if you hold the heli on its side and give it a gentle shake - I would suspect they are a tad too loose

Yes I have checked the pitch with a gauge, and it is spot on.

Are you using the black or the grey dampeners? It sounds like you are using the black, stiff ones. Try the softer grey ones.

And very simple: Don't take off from concrete! Get softer ground to avoid ground resonances.

Cheers!
