To upgrade my Trex 450 SE GF head to be able to use the V2 grips and feathering shaft, I would need the main rotor housing also or are the dampers just different. Just wondering because Readyheli isn't stocking the old style feathering shafts anymore. Thanks.

Pretty sure you would need the main rotor housing too, the spindle is 4mm, as opposed to the SE 3mm.
