Is ready heli the only reatailer for protos parts? If so does the protos work well with aftermarket 500 size parts or maybe even align parts?
I want the protos, if for no other reason than it looks totally BA, but don't want to risk not being able to find parts. Its not that I don't like dealing with ready heli, actually they are my fav online vendor, just like to have options. let me know |

Here are a few vendors that i know about
http://www.rchover.com/protos_heli1 http://www.elektrorc.com/ http://www.freedom-rc.com/ As for after market parts, here is what I know fits. The trex 500 tail fin will fit if you elongate the holes. K&B tail blades will fit if you sand the root. The protos has 4mm root and the trex 500 has 5mm. The protos blade grips are 9.16mm root thickness while the trex 500 are 10mm. Most of the protos is pretty unique so it might be hard to mix and match parts. -Keith Last edited by KTH; 06-25-2008 at 08:09 PM.. Reason: Added another vendor |
