Default Trouble with Hitec Optic 6

I got a Hitec Optic 6 with the spectra module to use mostly with my Falcon 3-D. I set up the TX and adjusted the frequency to the correct one and when I turn it on and then plug in the battery...nothing happens, my gyro light just flashes red until I either unplug the battery on turn on the stock TX. I know of people using this TX with the stock Falcon receiver so I'm wondering what is wrong.

About the only thing I can think of is that your transmitter channel ( frequency) doesn't match your receiver channel.
No doubt you know how to do this, but with the supplied screw driver select the channel in the module that matches your receiver.
Also check your transmitter menu to see that your are transmitting regular FM and not QPCM.
I hope this is of some small help.
Regards

I have the eclipse. If your setup is similar to mine, you need to check and make sure it is not set for Qpcm and that the shift is set correctly( pos or neg).
