Here's my mount. The top part is a coffin for a TP2100-3S battery. There is a hinge between the top and bottom so that I can angle down the camera and not see the prop.

The slowstick has an e-flite park 370 brushless motor turning a stock 11x8 prop with a stock gearbox. This is enough power to hover the SS when the camera isn't attached.

Brilliant - I want to try this method on my T-Rex but only have an Optio S with 30 Secs of vid available. I have determined though that I can set the self timer (10 secs) which will at least get me off the ground.!
