yea but these are fully threaded, the align ones are threaded only like 3 mm from the tip. Does this difference matter when it comes to a Jesus bolt or no?

I searched Align and RC Assurance as well as serveral verndors. The only place I see them is with the main shafts, they provide two bolts. I guess they figure if you are replacing the bolt, you are going to be replacing the shaft too.
I think the threaded ones would be a little weaker adn probably less tolerance, maybe a little more end play.

ty for your input, yea threaded ones would be weaker. Just got a set of main shaft with Jesus bolts from the local shop, they just received them today too, back to the built

You can use threaded bolts at a pinch but collared probably better - ALign do a pack containing two blade bolts and two Jesus bolts

I can't believe you have to buy a main shaft just to get a M3x20. Align should sell a hardware pack.

You don't, and they do. See John's post above. The part number is H60158.

Can anyone verify if the M3x22 jesus bolt can substituted for the M3x20 jesus bolt where the autorotation gear attaches to the mainshaft?

I don't know why not. It's only 2mm difference and there's nothing that the extra bolt length can hang up on as the gear turns.

Alan, The part that John specifies includes the M3x22s. My only concern is the 2 mm difference maybe enough to inhibit the locking nut from resting in the plastic case(autorotation gear housing.)
The reason I am asking is I am building my 600nsp and my M3x20 will not slide all the way through. I think I may have a manufactoring defect. And during the process of trying get mine to go through I may have damaged some of the treads on my M3x20.So i would like to get a new one. |

Yea I noticed that it comes with 2 x M3x22. I guess I can buy the hardware package that John refers to and see if it will work. Thats for the help Alan. Now I need to figure out why my bolt will slide through the mainshaft and the autorotation independently, but not when they together.

The autorotation sleeve always gives me fits. It does a really good job of hanging up the threads on the bolt. Once I get it started, I just wiggle it a lot until it starts moving and then continue wiggling until it gets all the way through. You just need to make sure you don't push too hard.

Well I'm on vacation in Sea Grove, Fl so I'll have to figure something out when I get home next weekend. I've had this heli for 3 weeks now and I'm ready to get her airborne already.
