Mind you If I had been nose in I would have been a main blade to the shin.

I messed up one day while setting up one of the EXIs on my workbench. (dumb move, left the motor connected) Thankfully I had the main blades off, but the tail rotor spun up, swung the tail toward me and I took 3 good slices on the chest.

What doesn't kill ya makes ya a hell of a lot more cautious!

Very well It even survived when I got the belt stuck in a tree!(which bent up my V2 head)

Well the last vid was taken one week and one day ago, Today I went to the airfield for the first time, I did my first piros, and back to flying circuts.(with piros) After the last crash(day after BIA3) did some polishing of my nose in skills on the sim! After the first pack at the air field( which I actually did my first piros on off film

) But this is the second pack and I'm all warmed up to that big inviting sky. It sure gives you a boost of confidence and It proved to me again you can fly like the sim!

I can't beileve the progress in only one week!

Nooooo, and it was going so nicely. I feel for you HY. I guess there is quite some damage there? I hope you have the spares and you aren't grounded for too long.

You played a good trick on us, keeping it quiet until it happened. I was thinking this is a nice flight with some good content and to come home in one piece is always a bonus, and then!

It was some great flying though!

My best flight so far so I can over look the seemingly devistating ending!

A big progress in getting my dad in the air again he got to see my best flight/crash and I handed it to him(my Belt) and proceded to gather my things from the runway. When I had returned he had figured out what needed replacing including the Microheli MG!(nice work Dad!) and realized how cheap it would be to fix! Now He's sent me an email to find the parts for his GWS Dragonfly FP!!!!!!!!!!

Will do! He"ll be back in the air in no time!

as for my damage not that bad the usual suspects. This is also a test of copterX Fx/main shafts vs Align as these are whats in there now I'll have a closer look later and post some pics because it is still as is from the crash! he he

I was just hoping the short play time of the vid wasn't too big of a clue!

That will be really cool flying with your dad, my youngest son keeps wathching me fly the belt and I can see he thinks it's amazing, I may try giving him the belt, if I can wangle my way to a new heli for my self that is.

Nice vid HG! Also great to hear about flying with your Dad. A couple of my sons have messed around with one of my Lamas, but none of them have the "fever".
