Default Radio,servos,batteries...need help..TRex 600

Hello, I am new to helis and recently bought a new trex 600. I am a beginner so I wont be flying 3D for some time...lol. I have always Flown with Futaba radios in my planes but my friend swears by JR.What is a good radio to start with that has room for growth. Do you prefer JR or futaba. What servos are good to start with? Thanks for your help.

A good setup which will see you from beginner to a good aerobatic pilot and some 3D would be the following:

Spektrum DX7 Tx
AR7000 Rx
3x Futaba 3050 Servos on Cyclic
Futaba 9254 with Futaba 401 Gyro on the tail
Any decent servo on the throttle

There is better stuff out there, but the above is proven and remains the favorite setup for many. The Tx, RX and tail servo will see you right the way through to competion 3D if you get that far..!

Best Rgds
