Finally finished putting together my 250. My setup is:

Updated tail model
Stock motor (although I have a scorpion 3600 that will go in soon)
Stock ESC
HS 5065's on swash
Hyperion DS09 GMD on tail
GY401
Gaui 800mah lipo (20c?)

Hovered it in the living room with stock tapered blades just to check tracking. Based on so many of the reports I have heard, I expected to stop as soon as I verified that my pitch was in good shape (which it was), but I was blown away by how stable it was. I had my gain set to 68 on my dx7, and the tail held still the entire time. It is a little bit squirrely with a normal throttle curve (75 at mid stick, then 85, then 100), but with a flat 85 curve the thing just stays in place. I should also add that I forgot to add ANY expo, and it really doesnt even feel like it needs it. Overall, coming from a 600n and a couple 450's, I am thoroughly impressed with this thing.

When you take the time to put it together right, it is an AMAZING helicopter. Definintely my new favorite.
