It's the same here dude. 100 to 105 degrees, hot as hell with zero wind.

My heli was the same as far as worried about goofing my setup up but once you get it and do it you will see cooler temps on your stuff with better efficiency on your batts because it's a switching BEC and should an unfortunate incident occur such as your ESC taking a crap you will then still be able to auto your X5 down to the ground.

With as good as your getting you will definitly notice a temp improvement and it doesn't wiegh anything hardly at all.

If you do it you won't regret it.
