In some cases, I'll put fuel tubing on the edge to make sure nothing happens if a wire rubs against the CF frame edge. The thing you want to do is avoid chafing wires. If you round just the edges, you won't run into fit issues--besides, chances are the rounded edges are exposed and come in contact with nothing structural.

I use fuel tubing and goop for this. I do have a friend who loves to sand and seal is frames with CA, then assemble the heli and look at it sitting on the shelf. I build flyers, not showpieces!
