So you would pick the X4II over the X5? Even the 12S X5?

I have to admit being rather surprised as whilst the X4II looks to fly very well, it also looks (from plenty of YT video) to fly alot heavier than the X5; even the 12S X5 (which TBH is only a couple of hundred grams more than the stock X5).

A 5000 lipo equipped X4II is prob as much as a 2200 loaded 12S X5 and the performance difference would be quite marked.

I personally found the 6S X5 required high end lipos to get enough performance out of it on 520mm blades (beating on it bogged it a little too easily) but on 12S the thing is brutal even with cheap lipos.

If I wanna just tool around for 6-7 min I can throw in a 5000. If I want a ballistic 3:30-4 min, a 3300 fits the bill wonderfully. I couldn't be happier!
