I had to use a Y-cable (use a heavy-duty one), but yes. If you can plug the cap directly into a VBar port, that's ideal. You want it as close to the load (servos), and the voltage supply (BEC cable) as possible.

I'd prefer to have the cap plugged directly to the VBar, as opposed to plugged into a free port on an RX, for instance. If plugged into the RX, you have more servo plugs between the cap and the load.

Now whether that difference (plugged into VBar vs RX) is actually meaningful, I couldn't say.

Interesting, I'd never heard of the Hitec PAD before.
