This stuff just looks too cool, but I think my enthusiasm is ahead of my need for the equipment. I think I'll stick with wood for a while and save this for later.

However, yes I would definitely get the DRO's and a starter set of end mills.

They do get REALLY heavy in a hurry don't they? The one I was looking at is about half the weight of the unit you got but doesn't come with the stand.

I would have to put it against the back wall of my garage, but I don't think I could put this on casters. It seems like it would need to be solid on the floor.

What you got really does look like a nice mill, and by the time I got the DRO's, Chuck etc. for the unit I was looking at the prices start to get REALLY close.

Something to think about...
