The self-leveling tries to do its thing on take off. But the frame is glued to the ground by gravity. So the swash tries to tilt a little to make the frame level. But the frame doesn't move. So the swash goes farther to level it out. Rinse, repeat. Until you finally get off the ground and the frame can respond to self-leveling.

If you take off facing the opposite direction next time, I bet the swash leans hard to the other side.
