Pull the pins out of the connectors, put heat shrink on them and plug them into the receiver. You only need the signal wires for each channel and a positive and negative lead to power the receiver. Here is an example of what I have done in the past although I had the correct plug for the signal, positve and negative leads on my throttle channel.
