I know for a fact that heavier blades make the TBO problem worse. I had a hell of a time with the bulleted blades causing TBOs, and then found the non-bulleted blades to be much more forgiving (assuming the boom wasn't cracked, of course).

Basically, anything that contributes to increasing main motor torque and current draw will exacerbate the TBO tendencies of the mcps. With this said, if you do get the HH brushless, I recommend running stock, non-bulleted main blades and reducing your servo travel to 80/80 to keep the TBOs under control.
