You need to calibrate the ESC. Do this with blades off or motor disconnected.

With the radio on raise your throttle stick to full up and power the ESC/model. You should hear several beeps. Lower the throttle to minimum and you should hear another set of beeps. This is the normal calibration procedure for most ESC's.

Power things off and then see if you have motor control on the next power up.
