The kV was pretty much spot on. Based on hovering RPM after doing the ESC gov calibration, it’s kV is 88.5% of my 1100 kV XLP motor, or 974 kV (assuming the 1100 kV value is right). So the new motor is only 24 kV off... probably within the usual margin of error for these things, and who knows about the 1100 kV value. Yeah!
I also tried loading up the motor as much as I could at 85% throttle. Came down at 130 F on the outer can. Great motor!
