I took some time off from 3D printing, but now I am spending more time on it. I've gone through about four 1kg rolls or PETG filament. I still don't understand all the settings in the PrusaSlicer, but the prints are coming out pretty well. I also learning how to do my own designs on Tinkercad, and so far so good.

This is my 3D printing station in my hobby room. Since I am printing mostly with PETG, I decided not to use an enclosure.

I stacked two $10 IKEA LACK tables using "cone" couplers I 3D printed from Thingiverse. I added furniture adjustable feet to eliminate any table wobbling on the floor.

I am also using a 16" x 16" cement paver from Home Depot to minimize printer noise transmission. I adhered rubber feet to the 37.5 lbs. cement paver.

I am also keeping the filament reasonably dry. I store the open filament in individual containers with a bag of silica gel dessicant. The dessicant lowers the humidity from about 46% down to 19% inside the container.
