I have always run with two sats (receivers) as well. My logic here is that including the telemetry receiver, that is already two receivers. A second sat would be three receivers, more than I have ever used. The sat I am using is not really blocked by CF. The tip is a full inch away.

I use the rule of thumb that my second receiver must be located such that both receivers can't be blocked by the heli at the same time. Even as I have it, it meets that rule. The worst case is when the heli is coming straight toward the transmitter.

I would be interested in suggested locations though and could be convinced to do more.
