Well here we are…a new year…January! Happy New Year everyone!

We've been blessed so far, no snow, unlike this time last year 2'+. During my two weeks of from work, Christmas/New Year shut down, I took advantage of the better weather, after Christmas, to get some flights in. Mark was out of town visiting family. I managed 5 flights on my Rave and 5 on my Goblin gasser. The weather was almost spring like, calm winds and temps close to 50 degrees. However, as the sun pasted the half...

My Synergy N7 build…the final touches and…the maiden flight!...and the NIU students experimental aircraft...

So on with last nights' build/finish... I started with powering up the Spartan Vortex to run through its' programming and discovered the second satellite wasn't working? For some reason, it wasn't bound, that or I have an issue with the cable going to it. So I started off with binding both satellites, and after several tries, It was finally bound.

And now May is half over!

May is proving to be an interesting month for sure. We’ve been getting lots of rain, overcast skies, and temps as low as 37 degrees (over night that is). This is making it hard to get out on a more consistent bases.

As for heli status, the Synergy N7 is performing great, much better than all the rest of my helis…so far. The Rave, on the other hand, it was totaled! In flight!!!

mCPX & mCPX BL Interchangeable Parts

The following parts will swap back and forth between the mCPX and mCPX BL

Canopy (from mCPX BL to mCPX)

Blade Grips - Rotor Hub - Feathering Shaft (the BL parts are much stronger)
Main Shaft - Main Gear - Shaft Collar - Main Bearings
All servos - assuming the long wire type is used

Servo Rods

If the mCPX Swash is used - use the mCPX head links
If the mCPX BL Swash is used - use the BL head links

The following parts do not interchange
