Steady hovering

Today I ran 3 battery backs in the basement living-room! It's unbeliveble how steady the heli is now. So forgiving. And quick to recover!

No crash so far! Did I jynx it now? :DOH

Re-build the Belt-CP part 2

Apparently it is not possible to attach pictures in the Blog-section.

Today I turned my interest to the tail.

So I put the Heli on a turning pad, and started it up...
Did not turn out well. Heli started to spinn uncontrolably. Did a mistake by holding the tail with my hand, powered up, and let go before I power down. Ouuch!!:DH
The tailblades struck the upper side of my hand, and I got 2 nice rips with blood shead... Stupid! :hammer

Re-build the Belt-CP part 1

Now that I have all the parts, I started the re-build of the Belt-CP.

The G10 frame is fantastic! Thick, sturdy and nothing like the Esky CF-frame. Fact is that it is so thick, that some of the screws were too short! :P

I had some troubles installing the servos on this frame though! The two back-servos (Aileron and Pitch) were just fine, but the front Elevator servo... :arggg:. Is it supposed to stick out from the side as much as it does?:thinking
