DX7 Charging Notes:

Posted 03-11-2014 at 08:11 AM by nickyd

googled notes:

16 hours charge time
My DX7 usually is at about 10.9-11.2 right when I take it off the charger..(like this morning..).. and at the end of the day.. about 7-8 flights total(2 different planes).. its at 10.4.
I agree with DGrant. The transmitter will work down to something like 9 volts, but that doesn't mean it's safe to fly at those levels. Once you get below 9.6, the drop off can be quite rapid, especially if you have a weak battery.
and drops within a few minutes into the 10+ range. It should stay above 10.0 volts for at least 2-3 hours (probably more is you have a decent battery). By the time you get to 10 volts, you should still have lots of capacity left but that's the point at which I normally recharge. I may go on below 10, but by that time I've got my eye on the indicator.
