Advice for Beginner / first Heli needed

Posted 12-27-2008 at 02:55 AM by Nitro_Guy

Hi all....I have been doing the airplane stuff for a few months now and I am now interested in Heli's. I have the Blade Micro CX indoor flyer, but this thing pretty much flies itself. What would be a few heli's for outdoors, for a beginner. I have the G4.5 sim, and have been using it alot. I have a JR X9303 2.4 transmitter as well. Thanks for any and all help.

On my last repair

Posted 12-18-2008 at 02:01 PM by JOMAZQ

Well, I just got around to test flying with the motor that ifheli graciously sent me from the east coast.

It's a a much better heli today, and I'll be testing again, having just installed fuel hose in place of my raggedy orings. I hope it's better than before. Probably will be.

For kicks I've adjusted my throttle curves to stock speeds; just to see how it acts. We'll see how this goes.

Another day, another crash.
