Posted 11-12-2008 at 06:18 PM by hel(i)boy

Hi guys,
Im new to Helis, but planning to get a Trex 450 XL HDE kit. Well [FONT=Arial][SIZE=2] KX850168TA 430X (3550KV) Brushless motor and 25A Brushless ESC RCE-BL25G are recommended for the 450 XL.

increased cyclic throws on protos

Posted 11-10-2008 at 12:22 PM by akshaw

A few weeks ago let Pete Campbell try my protos. He said to fly 3D cyclic throws need to be increased to the point that the ball on the swash doesn't show when the stick is pushed to the limit. So I adjusted throws today and tried it out. The flip rate was incredibly fast! Where before it seemed sluggish going over, now it reminds me of how my trex flipped when I had it on a 4S setup.
