Snow Joke

Posted 02-02-2009 at 10:19 AM by ted_wears_a_hat

Well it's been snowing heavily outside and so I haven't been flying; instead I did a little online shopping and picked up a few battery and charger bits from Hobby City as well as finally biting the bullet and ordering Phoenix from HeliGuy. I need to get some new blades so I might put in another Hobby City order for a variety of their Carbon Fibres to see which I like, I would like to have done it in the same order but I am wary of keeping orders down to a reasonable size and weight so I don't end up paying additional tax. There is a fine line between making the orders large enough for the shipping to work out reasonable but small enough so as not to be too noticeable. I also picked up a couple of random parts that I need spares wise from Fast Lad Performance.

Whilst I'm writing about spending money.... I think I may get an MCX for my dad for his birthday as he quite liked mine when he saw it whipping around the house. I wonder how he'll get on?

On a different and wholly less exciting note; I need to get around to fixing a slight mis-track of my blades since changing the blades (back to stock) after a mild blade scrape last week.
