"The Grass Is Brown Everywhere"

Year's ago I took a job in Texas and when I started work I discovered that I had been "sold" on the job as much as I had been selling myself to the company.

After 2 weeks of discovering how this new job was even worse than my previous one, I returned to the former job (with a big pay increase) and coined the phrase "The Grass Is Brown Everywhere" to explain why I returned.

The acronym TGIBE became my username on many forums and accounts over the years...

Ok here is the problem. Golf season starts for me this weekend. It is supposed to be near 60 degrees and Sunny and I have a 3-day trip with my golfing buddies to Bandon Dunes in Oregon at the end of the month. I carry a 10 handicap, so I have to play 60-70 rounds a year to keep that up…

How do I fit Heli flying in there and not end up divorced?

Comments welcomed…

And remember – The Grass is Brown Everwhere

I just wonder what people are interested is hearing/reading about?

Helifreak has sort of become my portal of choice lately... I love the subscription to threads stuff... it means that I get even more messages on my Blackberry during meetings...
