I sent my sab 700 piuma straight at myself doing a rushed test hover in the yard because I stupidly reverse the elevator, I hit TH and dove to the ground and still hit my leg at 350rpm according to the brain2 logs. it messed me up. I didnt walk right for weeks. it doesnt just hit once either. it hit my calf, back of my thigh, ass, ankle, and I got LUCKY. I was shook from that. I don't even want to think what would have happened if it didnt TH spool way down.

I don't get some of these people. I just don't get them... for one, they are testing the heli. They don't even know for sure if it is programmed properly!

I don't think I could ever do that. I guess I would just have to find something to throw at it and destroy it or something.

I think they went over and talked to her till the paramedics showed, but then they took off without identifying themselves. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

As much as I often hate the media, I didn't get the vibe you got here. Even the police were questioning whether there was a crime or not. As far as the toy helicopter line, to the general public, that's often how RC helis are differentiated from real helis.
Very sad. As I remember, helifreak took up a collection for this girl.

What a moron. That might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen with an rc heli.

Not true, he could have taken it to the next level and let it hit him in the face to demonstrate. That arm didnt even look like it was fully extended either. I laughed though when I saw that on the news. I said they have an accident then a guy holding one in his hand.
