Just a heads up, there's a Local Hobby Store here in Germany that just got their hands on the BLADE 130 X so release of the 300 X in the U.S. can't be far behind.

I imagine that depending on what port the shipments came in on and trucking routes, delivery could of been delayed by the 4th of July Holiday???

Then pushed back, another heli (130x) announced, pushed back again. Then the other heli released. Wtf. Why not focus on filling the original orders for the first heli, before announcing and producing and releasing a second heli.

Both of my T-Rex helis (700 and 550) use this receiver FBL and it is absolutely flawless and spectacular.

I have to agree with this assessment of th AR7200BX. I have one in a Trex 600E and am very impressed by it.
I can DEFINITELY chime in that there is no issue (knock-on-wood) with my 300 X and it's running all default values with the "updated" Throttle Curve settings issued by BLADE (Idle Up 1 & 2 have update TC settings from the manuals 100% curve). The 300 X is such a 'solid' Heli and handled 10mph gusts of wind with zero issues; wind measured with handheld wind meter.

Other than running with +15% expo on the transmitter Everything is bone stock.

The Only issue's I'm running into is like honkytown says, need more Lipo's and the other is cleaning bug guts off of wooden blades.

I did purchase a local branded Lipo (3S 1300mAh 30C+) for testing but found that I don't have the proper balance adapter for my charger...so down to 1 Lipo again.

The BLADE 300 X is the Real Deal; just say'n.

No, I have just used some RFI (whatever that is) 1300 / 25C and they work fine. No hard 3D stuff, though. They need to be a little more forward on the tray to keep the CoG.

This is where I got the stuff:

Wow, the Hobby Store I got mine from is probably a lot smaller than the one you picked your 300 X up at. No spares to speak of and I was really hoping to find the CF blades! The humidity is starting to ramp-up down here in Germany and I'm hoping that the stock blades aren't affected.

Much Appreciated Update!

Thanks David for the Honesty and Update!

*************************************************

I'll be picking up a 300 X kit here at a Local Hobby Store today and I've been reading that the folks in the UK and here in Germany are concerned about the "spares" issue (e.g. Lipos, Main Blades, Feathering Spindle).

I'll be keeping tabs with the LHS for parts availability but I'm really keeping an eye out for the OEM Lipo's; will pick up a few more once available here in Europe since the USPS is still not in a hurry to deal with the Lithium shipment issue.

I'll have to deal with the V.A.T. Tax here but when its all said and done, $403.00 USD to feed my addiction isn't a bad thing for me and is probably what I'd pay total ordering from the U.S.

I'm SERIOUSLY EXCITED to be able to fly this BLADE 300 X on the 4th of July here as it'll be my "Fireworks"; sans any crashing, lol!

At this point we're planning on shipping it in a couple weeks, probably around the 19th.

This isn't a wild guess, it's a very realistic date based upon the stock that's already arrived and the current status of the remaining stock needed to land, plus spare parts. Believe it or not, having Independence Day on Wednesday is actually a potential factor here. There's a bunch of stuff that's landed in California, and containers are backed up with everybody trying to get priority for the intermodal connection (trains and/or trucks).

Our desire is to ship all parts on the same day as the heli. We'll see where that stands as we get closer to the actual ship date. In any case we're not going to ship the heli if parts are not imminent (within a week of the main item ship date).
