Here a home made video of the maiden flight.
After this test, I lost a servo during a flight and almost the heli. After that, I changed the all six servo to Fut S9351 and installed a Power Box System. The difference is incredible, faster response and more stable. Now I'm triyng to reduce vibrations in the rear rotor. Always something to do!!!! Eduardo |

Helimex | Hello everybody who posted to this thread. I have been absent for a long time. Iīm sorry cause much of you were expecting to know about the progress of my Chinook. Well let me tell you the Chinook is almost finished. Only panel lines and paint details are missing. I still donīt feel my self confident to fly it but a friend of mine, good instructor and great RC helis pilot do for me. The color scheme I chose is a tribute to the first helicopter that landed in the Antarctica after fly from the South American Continent on 30th November 1980. It was the Chinook H-91 of the Argentine Air Force. If someone is interested, follow the progress at YouTube, search there for Helimex. Thanks for all of your comments. Here some pictures.

Obviously, Helimex is a master. My mouth is agape. Stunning work. That thing must have cost him 5 figures, maybe 6. Incredible. I wouldn't have the nerve to lift off with it. Crashing that thing, well, that woud be like seeing your dog run over. |

Kindling Maker | Cool Helimex, that looks so cool. I Might be in Veracruse in a few months, I plan on stopping there for fuel and a few Coronas, on my way to Belise. I live in south Texas but I love San Pedro. I will be intresed to see the thread as it grows. I am looking at a tandem when I get to where I can fly Really well. My wife wont let me get one until I can fly my CPP pretty well.

Trumpetrhapsody | I wish I could afford to build a turbine heli . Can't beat the sound! So did you design this yourself or are you following a instructions or a kit?
