Default Prog Box doesn't connect to ESC

Hi all

I very new here.
I have a problem connecting a new Prog box with a brand new Platinum Pro 120A V4 ESC.

When I attach the Prog box to the ESC and attach the battery, the motor peeps once per second.
When I press a button "Connecting ESC" is displayed on the LCD. I can wait for minutes, but no change.

I tried to attach it with my laptop and was able to update the Firmware of the Prog box to the latest version.
But I'm still not able to connect to the ESC.

Any ideas about a possible cause?

I would like to add two photos of my installation and how I attached the ESC to the Prog box, but I'm not able to do it right now.

But there is no much room for errors.

Regards
Salvatore

Which program box do you have. Does it have the battery tester. If it does then it’s compatible if not you can only use it as a usb link and program using pc software. What port are you using on the esc and what port on the program box.

Make sure you plug the esc to the box using the esc's fan port.

Don't know if this will help, but I had the same problem. In my case, I had plugged the lead that goes from the ESC to the FB controller into the box and the box would not recognize the ESC. When I used the separate 3 wire lead that can with the Prog Box and plugged it into the 3 pin port (fan port?) on the front of the ESC everything worked fine. This is with the HW60 multifunction LCD Prog. Box.

I can’t get my HWProgram box to connect to a HW 100 opto esc either. I plugged the wire into esc and then into box. Applied power and then hit item. It just says Connecting ESC on screen. What am I doing wrong here. Does the esc have to be updated. The HW box has been updated to latest update.
