N5 Auto one-way locked
After about a half gallon of flying around easy breaking in the motor, I did a few autos and noticed this thing sucked at autos. Thought it was just me,the weight of the heli or the blades I was using. Turned out the auto bearing was locked. Anyone one else having trouble with the one-way?

I had the same thing happen to me but I don't remember greasing the one way so I just changed it out.

Is something in the works for a fix to this? I will check the size of the sleeve.

I had to make a emergency landing in some tall grass (pressure line came off pipe) broke 3 of the bolts holding the landing skids in the mounts that was the only damage. The bad part was that when I tried to drill them out the bits would just slide off the bolts and go into the the mounts so I had to buy new mounts $18 x 2

Guys,
We are aware of this issue and are working on a solution. Some things to try in the mean time. - clean all of the grease out of the one way a try a light oil - lightly sand one way sleeve down to 11.98mm Hang in there we get to the bottom of this. Matt |

Matt,
Thanks for the update...I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough! What is the effectivity of this issue? With the new kit that just bought a few weeks ago, should I expect to have the same problem? I haven't gotten to that part of the build yet, but I'll be sure to check when I do. |

Check with your local distributor( Extreme Helis in AUS)
He should have some of the newer one way hubs in stock. The new one way is coming in all new kits now, you may have gotten one of the very last kits that had the original one way. Another note for all one way hubs, if you are flying in temps below 40 degrees, make sure you clean the grease out of the one way. The grease tends to thicken and causes the roller needles to stick. Clean the grease out and use a decent oil. Also the elevator bell crank inner and outer are coming tapped to 4mm in all new kits. Thanks! Matt |

New one-way looks great! Thanks Matt. Should be doing some mid 30* testing this weekend.

mine was locking up as well there is no need to buy a new one just clean it out like mat says and give the sleeve a bit of a rub down with wet & dry and fill it full of tri-flo oil had 6 flights on it so far after fix and no problems it only takes a hour of your time.
