Default spartan querk gyro direction problem?

I just finished building trex 450 sport v2 kit. I set up my gyro according to finless video. I attempted to spool up and I got a bad spin as soon as it was lite on the skids. I went back and rewatched the video. I did have the servo travel correct but the gyro does not want to correct in the right direction. I am using a dx6i a hitec 5084mg servo on the tail. I have the servo hanging on the tail. And reversed in the servo menu. Any ideas would be GREAT!!

You have to go into setup mode in the quark gyro and change the gyro correction direction.

Also ensure that when you set up the reversing and endpoints you reach the end of the process (LED steady on) as only then the adjustments are saved.

Try reversing your gyro on your TX, worked for me.

I got a bit confused in my Quark setup the other day and, when I was in the gyro direction menu I was giving it left rudder and then right rudder, thinking I had to see the tail slider go to both extremes (like when setting the limits). That's not the case -- left will give you gyro normal and right will give you gyro reverse (or is it the other way round?), so by moving the stick both ways I was cancelling out what I'd just set

thanks angelos and abenn. I did the same thing as abenn did and went both ways. I had t reverse my rudder channel. Only after watching finless video two more times did I catch the fac if I reversed the servo I had to move the rudder stick to the right instead of the left and right. And I did not go through the whole setup till I got the solid light. It seems to work great. Just need to finish setting the gains up. Thanks!
