Default iOS App for Spirit BT module

Is there support for iPhone/iPad with the BT module? On the website it just says "App for Android available".

ZeXx86 mentioned several times they are working on it.

See here post 380 for example:

Okay that's a shame. I'm surprised they've taken so long to bring out an iOS app for it. So I'd have to hook up my laptop to change the settings. I suppose I could live with that, but BT would have been preferable.

Thanks, Pete

Yup, I think the Apple flowered garden makes it difficult to obtain the required access the Spirit app needs.

You can buy a old cheap Android device for couple of bucks ☺
Or change from IOS to Android and enjoy the Smartphone world without limitations 😆

Yeah I could just buy a cheapo tablet to use with it if necessary. Would have much preferred iOS support though. Oh well, good job the Spirit unit itself is cheap and at least it does have OSX support.

Thanks, would be great to have. I presume it will use the same BT module? Could you let me know so I can order one with the unit for later use.

peteski: You will need new bluetooth module that will be available soon.
tkranz: With Jeti you do not need computer anymore. You can configure unit remotely directly in your transmitter.

Many thanks, I'll hang on then and keep an eye out for news on the iOS support. That will be the perfect setup for me

Hi Tomas,

can I make a complete Setup with a Jeti DS-16 without a computer?
Are bank backups and restore also possible with Jeti?

Regards, Frank

Don't think they are putting any effort into BT on ios.

Get the wifi version and use the browser. That was not worth it for me and just have an android phone for the BT thing.
