Default Gear mesh adjustment on 150x?

Is it possible to adjust 150x gear mesh? I know it doesn't seem likely but I am just wondering if I try to cut some main frame off (the main motor holder) and make the gear mesh more tight, will it become more unlikely to strip the main gear?

The only thing that now still breaks on my 150x is the main gear. In likely all my >85% throttle crash it will strip a gear or two, and I will keep it flying until the next crash. In approximately the third crash the main gear will become unusable. I have used up all my spare main gears and just ordered another 4. Throttle hold won't save it 100% as I fly so close to the ground. (I believe most people do with this little heli?)

Thats the life span of those gears 3 crashes and if your late with the throttle hold those gears are gone. Been trying to source a collar to slide in the main gear so the plastic doesnt deform so quick. Stock mesh is pretty good. Ive also tried derlin gears and they suck..you chip the teeth on those instead

You know there is no gear mesh adjustment. Strange I have not snapped a gear but I installed the new stronger frame and new stronger gear when they came out.
but
You may have a frame that is a little tight.
You could also have a bent or worn motor/bearing/shaft/gear.
You may have the weak frame
You may be buying the weaker main gear.

Last
Align sells 2 main gear. One is weaker and one is stronger with reinforced spokes.
and
Align sells 2 frames. One weaker and one is stronger with reinforced webs.

How do I know I am using the strong or weak one? I do not know this!

I will also check my shaft or bearing. Thank you.

150x comes with latest version of upgrades, no need to worry about that.

You can tell the weak from strong buy the looks of the parts and there has been posts on the differences of these parts.

the newer ones are the latest main gear part number that comes in a two pack... i found a way to revive old gears,.

the spacer from the servo gear seat, reamed it until it was a tight fit .

if you think this is a good idea, when you ream the spacer, size it to a brand new gear.
