3Digi as a tail gyro only?

I still fly a flybarred 550 helicopter regularly. Can I use the 3Digi as a tail gyro? In other words, is there any way to disable the main rotor control loop in the 3Digi?

Hi,
that could work. Although I have not tried it myself.
Set the elevator and aileron gains to 0. The only remaining factor will be the initial response.

Wasn't it already proven that you can use an FBL system on a flybar heli and the result is just a super stable helicopter?
