Default Jeti downloads (model images and sound)

Is there a place to download heli model images from Jeti? If not, what size does the image need to be? I downloaded a .jpg of Goblin 420 but it comes up blank on my transmitter.

Are there other Jeti .wav files to download that aren't preloaded without having to record my own?

Use the RC-Thoughts Text To Speech generator for any speech file you can think of.

... or if you happen to use a Mac you can generate them directly on your Mac terminal with the following command:

say -v Anna -r 150 -o T_MotStart_Anna.wav --file-format=WAVE --data-format=LEI16@22050 "Motor Start"

"Anna" being the voice to use (in my case German voice "Anna", all the voices can be found in system settings/voice output), "-r 150" is the speed (higher is faster), "T_xxx.wav" being the file name to create and "Motor Start" the text.

for pictures: just use .png as a format... they work much better.

Ciao

Do I need to shrink the image to a certain size or will Jeti reduce image size on it's own?

iirc best is 266x164... it would do it by itself too... but bigger pics would slow down model change a bit (i guess).

seems not to be perfect to use a German voice on English configured Mac (pls post the file here) did you try with one of your english voices too? (just curious)

As to your question about picture size page 74 of the manual:

Quote:
Model / Wallpapers You can display two types of model images. A smaller model image and a larger model image on all screens where the telemetry values are displayed (Menu - Timers / S e n s o rs - telemetry display). Background image. The background image is always visible (behind the telemetry values). The transparency of the image can also be set, where the full visibility is specified. Supported image formats: PNG (up to 320x240) and JPG baseline (up to 1024x768). Please note that large image files can easily delay the loading of a model memory.
JPG of the maximum size do slow things down as mentioned. I use PNG 320x240 (Mac user) and they are plenty nice and do not slow things down.

Oh - that's the actual German? Sounds like English in a German accent ... wild that those particular words are so close.

I going to make a complete replacement voice file set....the problem is I need to make a list of everything required first...

I started a list (and have made the wav files for them) but would like to have a complete one for the Jeti...any pointers?
Attached Files
File Type: csv CalloutList.csv (5.1 KB, 35 views)

Yes I found larger pics will most definitely slow things down.

I am not sure what you are asking, but if you want a list of the default Jeti voice and audio files, I would guess that you could delete all the voice and audio files and then do an update in Jeti Studio. Any missing default Jeti files should be recreated. Do a backup first, and you would have to replace any custom files after this.

Hmmmm...some of the alarm files that don't occur very often will not be missed until they are needed. You'd have to fly with some originals and see if they ever pop up, then replace them. Easy to recognize if you're replacing with a completely different voice. They won't hurt anything just sitting in the folder.
