Gaui 200 build videos

I just maidened mine today, and I had a blast. These little 200's fly a lot different then a 450. This will definitely keep me on my toes for a wile. Flying the 450 after seemed like cake.

I am uploading that to the server now.

But in the end this is a FUN little freakin heli! Yes it's a little harder to fly and all because of it's size but in the end I am kinda enjoying it! Why I just don't know.... Maybe the challenge of doing it or something... KEEPER if your into small helis!

Nice Bob! tail looked like it was holding good.Whats nice is this is the first video Ive seen of a gaui 200 or trex 250 flown that smooth.Collective pop looks like my trex 250 with 15 tooth pinion and plastic blades,very similar.......

i was very surprised with the collective response in Bob's video....it totally sucked.

i think even my old raptor 30v2 could do better .....no offense Bob, just disappointed with the stock set-up.

nice flying though Bob, you are not afraid to fly big with it....un common for that size heli

If you're on the fence, but can't really spend the money, but have the money...

Don't fly one of these things. After filming Bob flying it, I got to fly a pack around, and it was a stupidly fun little beastie. You'll go spend your grocery money on a Gaui 200. I had picked up a Rave the day before, or else I would've seriously considered picking one of these up that day.

After flying my birds, I kept going back over and drooling at it. I love my Logo, and this thing has a tiny little Logo head. I almost want to get one, and fashion some sort of Logo canopy and paint it all black and call it a Logo 200. I like the Trex 250's power better, but this Gaui's a little precision gem. The parts look and feel higher quality than the align parts.

Fun as hell to fly, flew way better than I expected something of that size to.

Oh I realize that powering up this thing will make it have much more power and head speed than stock. I am sure I will be doing something like that later

Bob it looks like you've been flying a 200 for awhile. Very smooth and controlled. The Align 205D's are THE blades for this bird. Throw on a Zpower 5150 too and you won't have the mushiness you experienced. Chech this guy out, he's running 3s with a 5150 and stock pinion on a shaft drive 200.

I just bought a 200 today and gyros and all that other stuff. I know nothing about this hobby. I downloaded your videos and am going to build it with this as my guidance. They seem very good and everything well explained. I will let you know in a week or 2 how you made out!! Wish me luck. First thing is tools. My smallest wrench is 3/8".

I tried a flight with the smaller weights that came with it, and I jeeze was is quick! I prefer the roll rate of the slightly larger ones as it all ready fast, but hey, maybe it would be your cup of tea. I do not think that the smaller weights did anything for the collective though. CF or woodies improves the pop on this little monster. I can't wait to fly it again!

All is I need now is some good weather.

I made a comment (in the videos) that the larger weights was PLENTY fast cyclic for me and I turned DOWN my swash mix lower than what I could get without binding! The reason I did so is this is a LOGO copy head design and I have had experience with this head type! It can be VERY fast! TUNE as you like my friends

Ah, I recall you saying that. With the lower swash settings, may that be the reason for the slow collective?
