Default need real help

i might have a 100 bucks in a week, and i really need to know what of this list will make for the best money spent.
im looking at some things here;
first will the t-rex 450se cnc tail fit on my 400 without any modes?
second is the 2100t gyro really good?
what about the align gp750 gyro?
or the kds800 gyro?
ive just went threw 167 pages on ebay and found some nice parts for a good price, but i dont want to spend my money on someting that wont really help with the tail on the blade 400. this money is like the only money i`ll have in a long time to buy parts with.
so i could use some good advice, i`ll listen to all your opinions. but please be real
im very poor right now and i need something to make my heli`s tail better.

please guy`s im very limited on funds and need some real help here.

The Logictech 2100t is an outstanding gyro.1BADAIR and I both have one. I would get it with the servo in the combo. 1BADAIR and I purchased ours through heliproz. It is by far the best upgrade to the B400.

You need to change the tail drive gear also, correct? will the Align tail gear fit on the B400 shaft without much fuss?

Fast, if you want to go gyro/servo, you could always do this:

G401B (xmseller) - $36.00
DS 290G servo - $35.00

If you want the servo boom mounted:
One additional tail servo boom mount - $2.49
Modify existing linkage for length - Free
or use the Align metal tail linkage rod (HS1271) - $3.99

Total Price (with Align linkage) - $77.48
This still leaves you some dough for shipping costs, and some extra.

the aluminum pivotand slider will pretty much fix the slope. Thats all Broken runs and since I had the bearing issue in my alum tail case I put the stock case back on with those parts also and its not loose at all

i was thinking of the g401b,
but have read so many post stateing its very hard to get it right.
like getting the drift out or have a bad wag.
heck i have that with the stock setup lol

thats why i was thinking maybe the stock setup wouldnt be to bad if i could get a better tail gear box, like the cnc stuff.

this is why im asking for opinion`s, this is like the only real mod i have the money for. and im sure it`ll be awhile before i`ll have money to do anything else.

so im really looking for my best option for my money. i`d love to get both the cnc tail and a 100 dollar gyro/servo combo. but just am not able.
what ever i deside has got to be something that will make a true difference in the performance of the heli`s in a positive way.
this will be something that has to not be a darnit i should went this way or that way.
i want to beable to say darn i wish i would have done this earlier.

i mean this is all the money i`ll have for this heli in some time to come, i dont see any work in my future here in michigan, thats pays enough to play with these helis anyway.so i have to make the right choice.

hey fast,
my 2 cents worth would be to really check where you are skills-wise. if you are just hovering and doing very basic FF, and/or still crash alot - - then maybe just buy spare parts like blades, spindles, shafts, etc. If you are above and beyond that stage, then maybe the gyro upgrades and such would make sense, although with a better gyro and a better tail servo, you should see a world of difference! again, just my 2 cents worth.

I have had no issues with the drive gear. There is no skips in it. Had 60 flights on the setup and put the tail on a new build for my airwolf and double checked last night and meshes perfect. Its only 1 tooth less than the align pully. I would recommend upgrading the slider arm to metal. I used a spare cncheli arm and have absolutely no slop. The airwolf should maiden tomorrow

thanks,dabigrussian
i have plenty of crashable parts, i now need something to help keeping the tail steady.

this is why i was wondering if a better tail with the stock gyro/servo would help.
or a better gyro/servo and still have a sloppy tail would make a difference

gotcha! glad you got spares- lol! back to skill level... if you doin hard 3D then everyone says you must upgrade gyro and tail servo. I had stripped my stock tail servo in a prior crash, and had upgraded it to a HS65MG. It has held rock solid for basic hovering and FF. Basic setup and adj. were needed. there are great setup vids for your tail. If after setting up your tail mechanically, and your gyro in your radio, as perfectly as you can, and still it wont hold - then somethin wrong! then obviously upgrade... but for me the better servo was all I needed- for now!

ive had my 400 for a year now, even tho im not doeing 3d im still finding the tail to be a pain.
ive sent it inthe original gyro to horizon and they sent me a new one. but i still dont like the constent drift.
so this is why i am going to upgrade something, im just not sure on which would make for the best long term investment. im guessing the gyro/servo combo would be the logical choice, sense eventually thats a given anyway.
so i guess thats my answewr right there, i`ll do the gyro/servo combo. its the most exspensive upgrade in my opinion for the 400, so sense i now have the oppertunity to do it i`d be stupid not to.
i just hate to spend a 100 dollars and still have a crappy tail because of all the slop in the stock rotor/slider setup
i can always buy a 10 dollar piece here and there to build a better tail, but dont see being able to do this on a GOOD gyro/servo setup

Do you fly planes too? I'm kinda kicking myself for buying the heli but planes were getting boring, I have at least four I can fly at any given time some fast some slow and they don't cost 30 or 40 bux every time I crash one. the crappy dx6 radio was one of the reasons for getting the Blade as well ( 10 model program )
so just tone it down but stay the RC hobby if you can.

Cheers
